Working on some speed today in FS and short burst in BR. 200 pace means to swim at the speed you would race 200m at. We do this normally for half the distance so 100s at 200 pace or 50s at 100 pace etc. It allows us to swim at speed without taxing the body as it would the full distance.
Warm Up
300 Choice
4x50 Descend
2x50 kick
200 Pull breathing every 5
Main Set
12x100 FS desc 1-3 to 200 pace every 4th kick
600 Pull Paddles
2x
4x50 as 25 BR fast 25 choice ez
200 BR
Cool Down
200 EZ
