Check out the Guide to the Pool Sessions for help deciphering and using this session!
Introducing hypoxic training techniques, these can be really helpful to relax the stroke and get comfortable with that burning lung feeling that competitive swimmers are all too familiar with! Avoid holding your breath, try to exhale slowly throughout And focus on relaxing. Don’t hyperventilate before doing any breath holding in general as this can be dangerous. It‘s also advisable to have a buddy watching you if you are pushing these types of techniques however there is nothing too challenging here.
