Backstroke day, focus on keeping the hips up and a long body line. A steady head position is key!
Warm Up
300 Choice
4x50 Descend
2x50 kick
200 Pull breathing every 5
Main Set
2x100 BK single arm
100 kick on back
400 BK as 25 Drill 25 Swim
Rotational BK kick arms by sides (rotate to shoulder in sight and switch)
6 kick switch ( one arm ready to catch the other by side, lift recovery arm first before the switch)
Scull switch (similar to 6ks one arm sculling in catch position the other out of the water over head kick for 12 approx. and switch)
200 BK pull
4x50 BK max underwater kicks
100 kick on back
4x100 BK negative split
400 kick as 25 BR 25 FS
Cool Down
200 EZ
