Endurance Week

This week we're reintroducing the pace clock! I want to get an idea of where I'm at initially then begin to build on endurance throughout the week. I'll be introducing some variations in set to help cater for differing levels of swimmer. I might play around with how I do this for a while but for now you will see something like the following on an individual line;


"25x100 @1:45/20x100 @2:00/15x100 @2:15"


3 options, you either swim 25x100 off 1:45 or 20x100 off 2:00 or 15x100 @2:15. They will more or less cover the same amount of time in the pool but not necessarily exact. For more information about reading the session plans then please visit the Guide I posted.


The main focus this week will be getting back into the habit of swimming the sets and distances we set out to do and pushing for consistency in the times we come in at. I'm aiming to drive the intensity up throughout the week gradually and finish Sunday with a 3km swim for time.
